I bought a 2008 sx trail from a user... He kept my money for two days before saying his wife won't let him do the deal... After he told me that same day he was boxing it up for me... Plus he gave a speech about serious buyers only....
Is there any way to flag his id as not a man of his word? He posts it as sold. I wonder if he sold it to someone else after taking my cash?

I understand completely about the Scale. I was recommending the Scale because he asked for carbon and with a -.30 bb drop and a 71° HA the bike`s geo would be fine with a 120 fork. I have seen Frischi charge pretty hard on one of these. It is not marketed for the useage you guys are talking about but I thought I would share my opinion. Have a good day.

Regarding the Scott Scale. I have a buddy that races 4X on a Scale and the PM`s at Scott told me there are 2 other guys running this frame in 4X races. I think it is stronger than you give it credit.

Nope, Me and my dad (used to run the same frame, Coyote DH3, faux-bar) use tha term quite a bit, usually to explain to the kids down the trails the differences after "wow! is that a bighit?".

I hate to break it to you but you too are wrong about the water thing. If you consume enough electrolytes at the same time then there is no amount of water that the human body can take that will be harmful to you. I'm a Wilderness EMT I've seen it dozens of times in the backcountry and city. If you can cite a single case of problems with water consumption from anything other than hyponatremia I'd love to hear it because it would change the way I do some things.

wow I am bad with directions.. haven't really lookd at Maps much.. I always assumed that I was going North East when I was heading to Missoula and East ro st Regis lol. Them mountains turn me around.

I was actually alking about Plains the town - it's in the Mountains ahh... 20 minutes west of St Regis and about an hour southwestish of Missoula. But I think their lack of snow might be unusual for the rest of Montana.

hows your weather down in Bozeman/how are the trails? Do they stay pretty decent all year around- I know the stuff around Plains was always wet and not really rideable... But I'm thinking about some winter cross border bikeing trips this year.
